Access Aids

In addition to providing our clients with comprehensive programs and support services, ACCESS AIDS Care also offers the Hampton Roads community a wide-range of programs and resources to help further their understanding and knowledge of HIV/AIDS. Our community programs are open to any one who is interested in  receiving support.

• Free Rapid HIV Testing: ACCESS AIDS Care offers a 20 minute, oral-fluid based, rapid HIV test. Testing is available by appointment.  Click here to see ACCESS AIDS Care Testing Information Page.
• Community Education on HIV and STDs: ACCESS AIDS Care offers free education to schools, churches, community groups, and shelters.  We also have trained educators who are available to answer your personal questions about HIV and other STDs and to refer you to local resources. All programs are free to the public. 
  
• Teens with a Purpose: Teens With A Purpose a program for young adults who aim to spread the message of pride, protection and upward mobility throughout the community to their peers with an emphasis on HIV/AIDS, STD prevention and education.
• Transition Your Life Clinic: TLC provides transgender people with specialized care that includes free services such as confidential HIV testing, health screenings and prescriptions for hormone therapy.
